Scenario options methodology - different "future realities" and our strategic responses to them

Scenario planning is identifying a specific set of uncertainties, different "realities" of what could happen in the future of our business.

It sounds simple and may not seem worth the effort or extra effort, however, building this set of assumptions is probably the best thing we can do to help the long-term stability and sustainability of our business.

Scenario planning aims to identify and define critical uncertainties and develop acceptable scenarios to discuss the impacts and responses to each. If we are aware of what might happen, we are more likely to successfully deal with what is going to happen.

Scenario planning is a creative technique that involves employees from different organizational parts and hierarchical levels, enabling dialogue, exchange and use of creative potential, strengthening the internal organizational capacity to respond to external influences.
